UNIMA Postgraduate School Holds Doctoral and Master’s Program Examinations, Opened by Director Prof. Dr. Rolles N. Palilingan, MS

The Postgraduate School of Manado State University (UNIMA) held academic examinations for its Doctoral Program (S3) in Educational Management, its Master’s Program (S2) in Science Education, and its Master’s Program (S2) in Educational Management. The event, held at UNIMA’s Postgraduate School, began with the official opening by the director, Prof. Dr. Rolles N. Palilingan. In his remarks, Prof. Rolles emphasized that examinations are essential for ensuring academic quality and for assessing students’ competencies and the quality of their research. The examinations are expected to produce outstanding, professional graduates who can make a real contribution to the development of knowledge and the field of education. The event proceeded in an orderly and smooth manner, attended by examinees and an examining team consisting of lecturers and professors according to their respective areas of expertise. UNIMA’s Postgraduate School continues to remain committed to maintaining the quality of higher education through the conduct of academic processes that are both high-quality and integrity-driven.

The Postgraduate School of Manado State University (UNIMA) once again carried out a series of academic examinations for doctoral and master’s students. The activities include examinations for the Doctoral Program (S3) in Educational Management, the Master’s Program (S2) in Science Education, and the Master’s Program (S2) in Educational Management. The examinations began with the official opening by UNIMA’s Postgraduate School Director, Prof. Dr. Rolles N. Palilingan. In his remarks, he underscored the importance of maintaining academic quality, scientific integrity, and a commitment to advancing knowledge through high-quality research. Prof. Rolles currently serves as Director of UNIMA’s Postgraduate School for the 2025–2029 period. In his guidance, Prof. Rolles stated that examinations are an important part of the academic process to assess students’ competencies, analytical abilities, and their scientific contributions to the development of knowledge and education. “These examinations are not merely an academic stage, but also a moment for students to demonstrate the results of their research and scientific thinking that can make a real contribution to the development of education and society,” he said. The examination activities took place in an academic manner, involving an examining team made up of professors and senior lecturers according to their respective fields of expertise. The participants presented the results of their research, thesis, and dissertation work that had been prepared as requirements for completing their studies at the doctoral and master’s levels. The Doctoral Program in Educational Management became one of the focuses of this round of examinations, considering that the program plays a role in producing human resources with leadership and managerial competencies in the education sector. Meanwhile, the Master’s Programs in Science Education and Educational Management also showcased various research findings relevant to the needs of educational development and learning. The existence of these programs forms part of UNIMA’s postgraduate education offerings, covering master’s and doctoral levels across a range of fields. The examinations proceeded in an orderly and smooth manner, reflecting UNIMA’s commitment to maintaining academic quality, improving the quality of its graduates, and strengthening a research culture within the university.
